Access to Computers
At Staindrop Business and Enterprise College, we have five fully equipped computer suites along with clusters of desktop PC's in our library and technology departments. Our gaphics department has a cluster of apple mac's and we have laptops available in our excel department.
The ratio of students to computers is approximately 2:1. As our students progress through school they will have increasing levels of access to computers in order to assist them with coursework and revision in all subject areas, not just their ICT lessons.
Students have access to a supervised computer suite 4 lunchtimes a week and 4 evenings a week, allowing students who do not have computer access outside school to enjoy the benefits that computers bring to their learning.
