Business with a Language

This combined course is an option at Year 8.  The course is worth 1.5 GCSE's and gives students an opportunity to gain a qualification in Business Communication Systems and in a Modern Foreign Language. 

Assessment for the MFL element is ongoing  with the weightings as follows:

• Listening 20%
• Reading 20%
• Writing 20%
• Speaking 30%.

Assessment for the Business element is ongoing with 3 major units being studied throughout the course:

• Exploring business purposes
• Developing customer relations
• Investigating financial control.
