Friendly Match Year 7 v Year 8

Thursday 3 November saw a friendly match played at Staindrop between our Year 7 students and our Year 8 students.  Despite a very wet and boggy field the students played well although the Year 8 team was 2 men short! 

The light failed very quickly and as our school field is lacking floodlights, it did make conditions more difficult.  Year 8 was victorious beating the Year 7’s 4-1.

There was also a girl’s football match taking place between Staindrop and Teesdale schools.  This match was highly competitive and despite Staindrop being short of players we held Teesdale to a 1-1 draw.  Well done girls!
