Have a Go Careers Workshops
Students from Year 8 and 9 were lucky enough to be invited to attend a BishopAucklandCollegeevent on Friday 4th November. The ”Have a Go” event gave students the opportunity to choose to sample a careers workshop run by an industry professional.
The workshops varied from Web Design, to Engineering and from Cooking to Painting and Decorating. Students who had chosen to sample a radio broadcast were able to see how a live studio broadcast works and another group created a radio advertisement for the event. Students were able to sample 2 of the workshops and the advice and information they were given was extremely useful.
